Ethnic Identity and Body Image in Female Undergraduates

This projects examines the effects of ethnic and American identity on body image, self-esteem, disordered eating symptoms and endorsement of mainstream media ideals in college women. Liya Rakhkovskaya is the Student Investigator of this project and is planning to present the results for her master’s thesis.

Body Image in Latina Women

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between body image and cultural factors in Hispanic/Latina college women. Kim Claudat is the Student Investigator of this project and is planning to use the results for her dissertation.

Muscularity, Mood and Body Image in College Men

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between mood, muscularity, body image and cultural factors in college men. As the Student Investigator of this project, Emily White is planning to use the results for her dissertation.
